Chateau Gazin 2008, 2009 & 2010
2 x Cases 2008 Château Gazin @ £475.00 IB per case
94 Robert Parker "Gazin's 2008, a structured, masculine style of Pomerol, reveals a dense plum/purple color in addition to a gorgeous perfume of licorice, mocha, black currants, plums and Asian spices. Firm, dense and full-bodied with stunning concentration, it represents a hypothetical blend of its two near-by neighbors, Lafleur and Petrus. Congratulations to Gazin on another fabulous effort that still seems to be under most consumers' radar. The 2008 should drink well for 20-25 years"

9 x Cases 2009 Château Gazin @ £510.00 IB per case
94-96* Robert Parker "Ferocious extract, huge tannin, an opaque purple color, and enormous richness all make for a potentially brilliant wine from this vineyard, located on the plateau of Pomerol just adjacent to Petrus. Probably a late finisher of malolactic given its showing on three separate occasions, this wine, which is enormously endowed, very rich, and full-bodied, has a chance to be the best Gazin ever made. However, patience will be a virtue, as the wine will certainly need 5-8 years of cellaring"

3 x Cases 2010 Château Gazin @ £570.00 IB per case - SOLD OUT
93-95 Robert Parker "Another remarkable effort from Gazin, the big, powerful, dense 2010 boasts an opaque purple color along with loads of black currant and kirsch-like fruit intermixed with licorice, caramel, mocha and toasty oak. This seriously endowed, broodingly backward cuvee requires 6-8 years of cellaring and should keep for three decades or more"
