Chateau Ausone 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010
1 x Case 2006 Château Ausone @ £6,995.00 IB per case
98 Robert Parker "One of the handful of candidates for wine of the vintage is the 2006 Ausone. In fact, while tasting it, I was thinking, is there any estate in Bordeaux that, since 1998, has made as many legendary wines as proprietor Alain Vauthier has at his beloved Ausone? Boasting an inky/blue/purple color as well as an extraordinary, precise bouquet of minerals, flowers, blueberry liqueur, and black currants, this wine possesses fabulous fruit and great intensity, but what makes it so special is its precision, focus, and almost ethereal lightness despite substantial flavor intensity and depth. It is a ballerina with density and power. The abundant noticeable tannin is sweet and, not surprisingly, very finely grained. It should be cellared for a decade, and consumed over the following half century"

13 x Cases 2007 Château Ausone @ £5,000.00 IB per case
94 Robert Parker "The 2007 Ausone is a candidate for one of the wines of the vintage, rivaling Pavie and Lafite Rothschild. Its deep ruby/purple hue is accompanied by a beautiful nose of spring flowers, raspberries, black currants, and crushed rocks. The wine is dense, medium to full-bodied, and pure with sweet tannin as well as a surprisingly evolved, forward style. It is one of the few Ausones I have tasted that can be drunk with great pleasure at this stage, yet it promises to evolve for two decades"

2 x Cases (Magnums) 2007 Château Ausone @ £5,000.00 IB per case

13 x Cases 2008 Château Ausone @ £7,900.00 IB per case
98 Robert Parker "Possibly the "wine of the vintage," the 2008 boasts an inky/blue/purple color as well as a glorious perfume of spring flowers, blueberry and blackberry liqueur, camphor, truffles and crushed rocks. With great fruit on the attack and mid-palate, a medium to full-bodied, multidimensional mouthfeel and a skyscraper-like finish, this prodigious effort over-delivers, even for this phenomenal terroir. Give it 5-8 years of cellaring and drink it over the following 40-50 years".

5 x 'Imperials' 2008 Château Ausone @ £6,700.00 IB per Btl

1 x Case 2010 Chappelle d'Ausone @ £1,750.00 IB per case
92-94 Robert Parker "The fact that this second wine is so remarkable tells readers just how stupendous the grand vin must be. The dense purple-hued 2010 Chapelle d'Ausone offers a perfumed nose of blue, red and black fruits, licorice, incense and crushed rocks. Deep, full-bodied, round and generous, this wine will offer magnificent drinking over the next 20-25+ years"
