2007 ‘The Musician’ from Majella (Aus) is an intoxicating blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz sourced from the cooler climate of Coonawarra. It offers up a perfume of smoke, violets, blackcurrant and mint. It has a sense of elegance, with a velvety texture, layers of spicy fruit, and excellent length. . . Very serious but a cracking bargain.
