Château Ducru Beaucaillou
This morning kicks off with Château Ducru Beaucaillou, which we are delighted to offer @ £525.00 IB per case. . . I have to take my hat off to Bruno Borie as this is an unexpected and substantial reduction compared to the 2006 (370 Euros in our cost). . .
Quality at Ducru has seriously increased over the past few years, to the detriment of the cases produced - now running at circa 10,000 cases compared to nearly 20,000 from past years. . .
The 2007 vintage has received consistently good reviews from all the leading critics;
90-92 Parker
92-94 Neal Martin
"A dark purple/garnet colour. Again, very pure on the nose, hints of rose petals, raspberry, red cherries – again very refined. This is an excellent Ducru – very fine tannins, very cohesive, not dissimilar to Las-Cases, certainly much more refined than in recent years. Svelte, silky smooth and very seductive. Nice grip on the finish. Good effort this year, a touch better than the 2006".
NB: The 2006 currently sells for £780.00 IB per case. . .
Please revert ASAP if you wish to acquire the highly recommend 07 Ducru.
Château de Fieuzal Blanc
We are delighted to offer and highly recommend another delicious dry white from Graves - Château de Fieuzal Blanc @ £280.00 IB per case. . .
Robert Parker awards de Fieuzal Blanc an impressive 92-94. . .
