This sunny morning kicks of several noteworthy releases. . .
Château Smith Haut Lafitte
First up are both wines from Château Smith Haut Lafitte. . .
Smith Haut Lafitte Blanc has received some very impressive scores from the leading critics – Most notable is 94-96 points from Robert Parker. . . We are delighted to offer the 'Blanc' @ £460.00 IB per case and the delicious 'Rouge' @ £320.00 IB per case. These are purchased/& sold on a 1 Blanc to 1 Rouge ratio and unfortunately, these need to be allocated. . . Please revert ASAP if you wish to get your hands on this delicious pair. . .
Château Troplong Mondot
Château Troplong Mondot from Saint Emilion is offered and highly recommend @ £435.00 IB per case. . . This is a huge and very welcoming drop in price over last years release (360 Euros on our purchase price).
Robert Parker awards a very creditable 90-93. . .
Château Grand Puy Lacoste
We now have the delicious Pauillac – Château Grand Puy Lacoste, which is offered @ £320.00 IB per case. . . For me the 2007 Grand Puy Lacoste offers more value for your money against the already released Lynch Bages (£395.00). . .
The leading critics also award Grand Puy Lacoste higher marks too. . .
Château Pichon Baron
Unfortunately, we've gone backwards with Château Pichon Baron's 2007 offering @ £515/20.00 IB per case. . . Château Pichon Baron is undoubtedly a true 'super-second' however, why pay top-dollar for the 2007 when you can purchase the delicious and mature 2001 at the same price? We also offered last years 2006 @ £520.00 IB per case, which received a very creditable 92-94 from Monsieur Parker (2007 90-92). . .
Call me a renegade but there is absolutely no way I can recommend purchasing the 2007. . . Absolutely bonkers in my opinion!
